  1. Face masks must be worn throughout except while on stage for photo taking.
  2. Graduates must be seated at assigned seats or rows only. Strictly no movement within the hall is allowed unless going up on stage.

You may still participate in the Convocation ceremony online in the event that you are unable to attend the in-person ceremony. Please visit this page later for details of the online screening.

I am fully vaccinated overseas. What must I do to be eligible for Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS)?

You must update your overseas vaccination records in the National Immunisation Registry (NIR) within 30 days of arrival in Singapore.

To do so, you must visit a private healthcare provider or Public Health Preparedness Clinic (PHPC) in Singapore, present your personal identification documents, valid vaccination certificate(s) and translated copies (if required) and take a serology test (if required). Please call in advance to check that the clinic is able to provide this service. You will have to bear the full cost of the service.

If your overseas vaccination records are verified and your serology test result (where required) is positive, your vaccination records will be updated in the NIR. Your vaccination status can then be viewed on the TraceTogether and HealthHub apps, which can be presented for verification upon check-in at Hall 3 of Singapore Expo.

If your overseas vaccination records are not recognised or your serology test results (where required) is negative, you will have to complete the full vaccination regimen in Singapore within two months of the negative test result.

Are children subject to VDS?

Children aged 6 to 12 are not subjected to VDS. If you intend to bring children under 12, you are strongly encouraged to let them receive the necessary vaccination if they are medically eligible.

For health and safety reasons, guests under the age of 6 or over the age of 70 are discouraged from attending the in-person Convocation.

You may be asked to provide proof of age for your child(ren) which can be in the form of a birth certificate, passport or other official identification documents with their date of birth clearly stated.

Will the Convocation ceremony still proceed if COVID-19 cases continue to rise?

Should there be any changes to the ceremony, we will update all graduands and guests at least three days before the event.

Attendance and venue
What should I do when I arrive at Singapore Expo?

You will be able to access Singapore Expo from various entry points. Please make your way to Hall 3. You will be required to scan our Safe Entry QR code with your TraceTogether (TT) app for entry. Please buffer additional time for these checks and registration.

Is the venue wheelchair-accessible?

Singapore Expo is a wheelchair-accessible facility. Seating arrangements can be made for guests who require special mobility assistance, please write to alumni@lasalle.edu.sg. For their safety, we highly recommend that guests over the age of 70 refrain from attending the ceremony.

Will catering be provided after the ceremony?
